Before you take the leap into tiny living, we understand that you may want to test it out which we think is a great idea and that’s why we try to find tiny house rentals to share with you from time-to-time. The Garden Caravan is a lovely 200 square foot tiny house in Idaho that’s rented out through Airbnb. The exterior of the home is inviting with cedar shake siding and rusted blue metal siding.
The home was built by a boat builder using mostly recycled materials. The layout isn’t like any tiny house that we’ve ever seen and it does kind of remind us of a boat! The kitchen consists of an upper and lower cabinet unit with a gas stove, refrigerator, and toaster oven. What’s unique about the area is that the bedroom is located right behind the kitchen! So the
good news is that you don’t have to go far for a midnight snack!
The bedroom is basically just a mattress that sits on top of a platform with large drawers underneath for storage. A ledge was mounted over the head of the bed to give you a place for books and storage.
A small dining table is off of the kitchen with a long, padded bench built into the wall in front of double windows.
We think this home is adorable and that it could give you a great glimpse into tiny house living.
