Tiny Houses often come from unusual and unexpected origins like shipping containers or silos, or an old school bus like this awesome one! A designer in Tennessee got his hands on a 1998 Thomas Built school bus and knew that it was destined for bigger and better things. After lots of hard work and creativity, this 39-foot-long bus was transformed into a 293 square foot tiny house! It was for sale for $45,000 but unfortunately, someone already scooped it up, but it can still provide plenty of inspiration!
The house is obviously made to hit the road easily but what isn’t expected is that it comfortably fits a family of three and has everything needed for adventure on the open road! The house has a full-sized couch, a kitchen, and a dining area right inside the door. It’s surprisingly spacious for a bus!
The dining table folds out when needed and can seat four guests. When you’re done with dinner, just lay it back down out of the way.
The kitchen has a full-size stove/oven combo and a double-basin stainless steel sink. Upper and lower cabinets give you plenty of room for storage.
Across from the kitchen, you have two bunk beds hidden behind curtains.
The master bed is in the back of the bus and has built-in storage both behind and below the mattress.
The bathroom vanity is located towards the back of the bus and has a large sink cabinet with a makeup mirror and medicine cabinet.
Across from the vanity is this large storage cabinet with tons of room for clothing and items.
This is a great bus renovation and makes us wonder what else can be turned into a tiny house? If you’d like to see more of the bus and be inspired, watch the video at https://youtu.be/z5yKZnRCqNw.
