A homeowner in Austin, Texas built the Piggy Bank tiny house in their backyard and has rented it out through Airbnb for several years. Unfortunately, their main home is being torn down and the tiny house can’t stay on the property doing building so it has to go! The 120 square foot home includes everything you see inside which, by the way, is all we can show you because they didn’t post any pictures of the exterior! However, this cozy home is obviously adorable and can be yours for $40,000.
The tiny house has a small kitchenette with a mini-fridge and bowl sink giving you a place to make a sandwich or a cup of coffee. Behind the kitchen is the bathroom and the loft is above which is reached by a ladder.
The kitchenette also has a microwave set into the cabinets above the mini-fridge.
The living area currently has a twin-sized bed in it set up as a daybed so it can double as a couch during the day. Above it is a small storage loft for bulk items.
The loft holds a full-sized mattress and the pitched ceiling gives you headroom while moving around.
The home’s bathroom has a flushable toilet, sink, and shower stall.
