The Chimera by Wind River Tiny Homes is a 24-foot house with tons of optional upgrades that make this an incredible place to call home! It packs in a lot of living space in such a tiny place so you have to see inside!
When you step inside, you walk into the living area with a long built-in couch on the wall underneath a big window. The couch has a comfy cushion so you can curl up and relax while gazing outside.
The couch can be lifted up for to store items below and you can pull it out to make a bed. Once pulled out, you have plenty of space for someone to catch a nap or for overnight guests.
Looking from the living room into the kitchen, you can see the fridge is tucked under the stairs next to the washing machine. Keeping these both under the stairs saves tons of space in the rest of the home while still letting you have the full-sized appliances which you don’t always find in tiny houses!
In the kitchen, you have a full-sized gas cooktop with oven and lots of closed storage space.
The open shelves give you a place to store dishes and glasses so they’re easy to grab. And look at those exposed beams and wooden ceiling! We love the warmth that they add to this home.
The countertops are butcher block which is great for cooking on and it adds character to the space with all of the different wood tones. You can safely cut on the butcher block without worrying about destroying it. Over time, all of the scratches add to the charm of having wooden surfaces!
The stainless-steel sink and faucet sit under a large window and are surrounded by a gray countertop that’s safer for wet areas than the butcher block. And we like the contrast between the two styles instead of just one surface in the kitchen.
On the opposite wall of the kitchen, you have a little table that you can pop up for a dining space with small stools that tuck underneath when not in use. You can use this for a workspace too if needed.
Looking from the kitchen back towards the living room, you can see the bright red door of the bathroom and the smaller storage loft up above. We love the bold pop of color that’s unexpected!
The smaller loft is reached through the metal bars on the wall next to the red door! Don’t worry, you won’t be going to this loft every day so the ladder is just fine for its purpose.
The main loft area has a fuller staircase with closed storage underneath. This gives you quite a lot of space to store your items out of sight! Plus the wider steps are much more comfortable than having to crawl up a ladder to get to your bed every night.
Upstairs, the loft has a ton of room for a bed and built-in storage. You can fit any size mattress that you want and you have windows that open up to let in fresh air.
Back downstairs behind the red door is a dreamy bathroom! Just wait until you see inside!
You have a full-sized shower stall with a stone surround and teak shower base.
The sink has storage underneath or you have floating shelves over the toilet.
Back in the main area, there’s a gorgeous ceiling fan up above as well as gorgeous wood ceilings.
This home has so much character and the builders really put a lot of thought into the beautiful details which shows.
We think this is a perfect tiny home when you’re limited on space but not on quality!
