Allie is the owner of a popular blog called “Proverbs 31 Girl” and she’s also a lover of all things DIY so when she decided to turn the family’s detached garage into a guest house, she rolled up her sleeves and did it herself! Handmade window boxes were added to the exterior with a classic black and white color scheme and beautiful landscaping.
Inside, the home is swathed in white fabric with white board and batten walls and décor. A compact fireplace gives warmth to the room and cozy chairs invite you to sit down and enjoy the moment.
The guest house is one large room so the bedroom is connected to the living room.
The bedroom has a barn-style ceiling and continues the all-white theme for a peaceful setting to get some rest in.
A small desk sits next to the bed with a lamp for light if the large windows don’t give you enough.
Alli’s décor choices are part of what makes this guest house such a special place and it’s something you can copy for your tiny house!
We love what she’s done with the once-garage and it definitely inspires us to make beautiful settings in our own homes! If you want to see more of her projects, be sure to check out her blog at http://proverbs31girl.com. You can also follow her on social media at:
